“We checked in to the hotel late in the evening, shortly before the reception desk closed. Got to our room, unpacked, went into the bathroom and discovered that it smelled like a sewer with something big and rotten in it. Flushed toilet, ran faucet, nothing helped. We left early in the morning and went to a different hotel even though we had two days remaining on a non-refundable reservation.”
