You get what you pay for

It's okay. You get what you payed for. Pros: everything is within walking distance, (casinos, colonial zone, restaurants) it's affordable if you're on a budget, staff is nice, the rooms are spacious. Cons: slightly dated (comforters stiff, pillows either small and soft or large and hard). There are girls hustling near by, but I didn't see it as a pro or a con. I'd recommend it if you're only staying for like the weekend.

Personal recepción estafador

LLegué al hotel con mi esposo e hijo de 8 años, a la media noche, luego de un viaje internacional agotador y en medio de la lluvia. El resposable de la recepciòn en ese turno, Manuel, a quien ya se le había informado de nuestro check in tardìo, nos informò que habìamos realizado una reservación errada, porque la habìtación cancelado un cuarto para 2 personas y no 3. A pesar de presentar impresa la reservación de una habitaciòn de 3 camas, no aceptó darnos la llave de esta si no cancelábamos un extra de 15$ màs impuestos por la cama extra. En vista de nuestro cansancio, especialmente del niño, aceptamos cancelar el dinero adicional que nos pedìa (por cierto, el Manuel no tenìa cambio, asì que quedò èl debiendo dinero a nosotros). Al dìa siguiente, le informamos de lo sucedido al responsable de la recepción de la mañana y nos respondió que cada recepcionista tenía la potestad de decidir qué hacer en su turno!! pedimos hablar con el gerente, pero según dijo, cada recepcionista era el gerente del hotel en su turno. En vista de lo antes señalado, sumado al hecho de que había sucio debajo de la cama, el nos facilitaron el control del TV y el baño no estaba en su mejor condición, les informamos que no nos quedaríamos la segunda noche. Al respecto, descaradamente nos dijeron que no habìa problemas, siempre y cuando la canceláramos!! Obviamente, no aceptamos y le dijimos que se sintieran bien pagados con el dinero extra que injustamente nos vimos en la obligación de cancelar.

各位住宿之前要留意，在santo domingo，星期日找貨幣兌換是非常困難，因為很多地方都關門，而且港幣，人民幣，瑞士法郎在當地很難換為當地貨幣，剛剛這次入住，刷卡機壞了，如果用信用卡去當地提款機提款，隨時有非常貴的手續費。結果我找了一個上午都沒有辦法兌換當地貨幣的現金去給房費。雖然最後在某賭場附近遇到香港人，能夠成功以港幣換當地貨幣。去給2100多明尼加披索的房費。 因為機場無巴士往返酒店所在地區，如果要從酒店去機場，酒店老闆可以幫忙找計程車，他說要大概32美元車資。 居住地區治安非常差，晚上基本無警察，在樓下餐廳吃飯，被路過妓女騷擾。 門口有大量妓女聚集，看到你是單身男人，設法貼身騷擾。 本人入住當天晚上本來想離開酒店，到附近街道找夜宵，結果離開酒店過了半條街，本人被一個男人喝停，那個男人拼命說該地方有多危險，不斷問本人要住宿，吃飯，喝酒還是要小姐。相信大家可以想到附近地區安全程度應該比中國任何一個地方還要差。 另外，酒店前台也寫明，如果帶非住客入房間短聚，酒店會收取200多明尼加披索費用。各位要注意。

Needs new mattress but good location

Unable to accept credit card payment upon check-in and had to pay cash (supposed verifone problem). The room assigned was street side and extremely noisy people outside all night. The mattress was so terrible we couldn't sleep and, when we turned off the air conditioner, water leaked on the head of the bed. Our room was changed for 2nd & 3rd nights and the mattress was a little better. The showers had hot water but in 2nd room the hot water tap turned burning hot and coudn't be touched. Hard to control water temperature. There are about 3 parking spaces in front of hotel and we had good luck in being able to use this. The location is great and the low price makes up for much, but I still can't recommend and won't stay again.

Uebernachtung

Zum Glück hatten wir nur eine Übernachtung gebucht. Zimmer sind dunkel gar nicht einladend. Hatte so komischen geschmack so gemieft. Für eine Nacht geht es wäre aber sicher nicht für längere Zeit zum bleiben. Vorteil es ist sehr nahe von Conde gelegen und vom Malecon.
