Best value, excellent location in the center of colonial zone. Royal room king size bed very comfortable if you like a soft bed. Balcony is great, specially if you are a smoker. Room was very spacious. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Hotel is very nice overall but the standard rooms need renovating. New furniture, better mattresses. I stayed in the balcony room once before and that one was great but this time I stayed in a standard room thinking that it too would be decent. I expected a difference in quality but I did not expect to sleep on a springy mattress that poked my ribs and very old rusty furniture. The bed sheets felt very low quality as well, rough material. I would stay here again but I would stay in a balcony since they obviously put all their money on these rooms. Again, that is to be expected but only to a certain extent.

You just can't beat this location if you want to immerse yourself in the colonial zone for at least a couple of nights... you don't have to drive anywhere to have a great time and appreciate history, culture, night life, and all this area has to offer.
