We had a wonderful stay at Avaton Resort & Spa. The views from the hotel are absolutely magnificent, especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down over the caldera was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is also excellent, with beautiful walking paths nearby and within walking distance of Skaros Rock, making it easy to enjoy some of the most scenic hikes in Santorini. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their hospitality and professionalism. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Santorini. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Avaton Resort and Spa was absolutely amazing, and the hospitality truly made our trip special. From the moment we arrived, the front desk gentleman went completely above and beyond for us. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. No matter what we needed — recommendations, assistance, or help coordinating things during our stay — he handled everything with such professionalism and warmth. The resort itself was beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, the rooms were comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much effort into making guests feel cared for, and we truly appreciated everything he did for us during our stay. Treat yourself to an amazing vacation at Avaton!

Staying at the Avaton Tesort and Spa has been the greatest treat so far. Not only were there beautiful views and rooms but the accommodations were nothing short of luxury. We received a great breakfast and good coffee every morning and had access to their wonderful spa facilities. To top it all off Efthimis and Xrisoula were both amazing receptionists! They made our stay exceptional.

We had an upgraded room and excellent service throughout our stay. They organised restaurant bookings for us and the couples massage was the best treatment we have ever had! Perfection! Private, classy, exceptional staff and location; I could go on and on. This hotel is located in the perfect spot for the best sunset view in santorini; highest point on the caldera but only 15/20 min walk down to the bars and clubs. We took a taxi home each night for 15 Euros. Thank you Bessy and all the staff who made our vacation one to remember.

The Avaton is Fantastic!

The Avaton was fantastic. It is kind of at the end of the “tourist” areas before you get to Oia which makes it nice and quiet compared to Fira or Firostefani. The honeymoon suite, room 1, had the best views out of all the rooms. The pool deck is shared but incredibly beautiful. We did not find better views throughout our travels in Santorini. Bessy and Zoe at the front desk are so helpful and are constantly checking on you to ensure you are attended to. They provide wonderful recommendations and will book you whatever you need. If you follow their advice, you will have a great time in Santorini. We absolutely loved the Avaton and would be back in an instant!
