Beautiful room with private hot tub, great air conditioning system and kept in beautiful condition throughout our stay. The staff were so kind and nothing was too much trouble, bringing us fruit and wine on arrival to our room, and even providing us with coffees while we waited for the room to be ready (we arrived far earlier than the check in time). Service was quick and efficient, and we really enjoyed the 7 course dinner we had at the hotel. The food was incomparable and the staff again made us feel comfortable and as though nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for the most memorable stay.

Misleading Descriptions

I had booked the vanilla room with private jacuzzi and sun deck. This was misleading. We had an individual jacuzzi right next to two others. There was no privacy.

The staff was very nice, the hotel it self was not what I anticipated, we have traveled a lot, I would not rated a 5 star, there linens, the mold in the bathroom not begin taken care of was not great, it wasn’t the experience I had hope for in Santorini, location great, staff very nice.

Avoid the Dinner at the hotel. Meals have a great presentation but taste really bad. The chef is not good and the price is extremely high for the poor quality of the food.

Our room was very nice, but not what their website portrays. For ex. we had the vanilla room. It stated semi-private jacuzzi & the picture makes it look like the jacuzzi was inside the room with a view. I understand the description also stated "in some." I can completely understand all of this, but our jacuzzi was upstairs beside 2 other jacuzzi's. Our jacuzzi needs a serious paint job because paint was/ is flaking off in many spots. I could look past this as well, but then ours never got warm & definitely not hot. We went to the office 2 times to ask them to turn the jacuzzi on. Of the 3 jacuzzi's with our area with 3 rooms only 1 jacuzzi actually worked. Pool area was very nice & our shared yard was wonderful with fantastic views. Staff handling the luggage was unexpected & very appreciated. The one person who checked us in was nice & informative.

We stayed at Kapari for 4 nights . 4/5 rating is for the staff and the location but I give it 3/5 for the actual room. Room is overpriced for what you get and photos of the resort on the website are different now compared to when it was new. See my photos attached. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have elderly adults or those that can’t climb stairs well both at the resort and in the room ( we had a loft and had to climb from our bed upstairs down a ladder to the downstairs area and bathroom. Also don’t get a room near the pool bc the hang out area for the pool guests is right outside your door and you won’t have any privacy. Overall, the resort Iocation is very nice. You can walk to Fira in 20-25 min for dinner and shopping . It’s very quiet in Imerovigli ( unlike Oia which is so busy and so touristy that I wouldn’t recommend staying there). We didn’t have a car and I don’t recommend driving there due to limited parking and small roads. The staff was very friendly and helpful in booking a car for the day to take us to Oia and to and from the airport. Breakfast was included and had a beautiful view and a variety of food for breakfast. All in all we had a great time but overpriced resort for what you pay for .

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by the staff and continued until we left. We felt very pampered from the generous room upgrade, delicious included breakfast and kind service throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in a centrally located spot. We enjoyed the walk to Fira each day to find cute bakeries, artsy shops and delicious restaurants.

Hotel was closer to a 2 star N. American hotel. View is awesome, staff mostly friendly. Room was a major disappointment, outdated, stunk of chlorine, muggy from indoor hot tub, and basically felt like a Motel 6. Basic tourist trap like so many of the businesses on Santorini Island. Grossly overpriced.
