“This property was fantastic. Great views. We had to leave early the next day and the staff dropped off a basket full of breakfast foods for us to take with us and prep before leaving as the buffet would not be open when we departed. Beyond what was expected of them.”

“The property was very pretty. We had a classic suite, which was actually two adjoining rooms, so it was very spacious,with two bathrooms, a great bargain. We had dinner there once, and my meal was very good, but my wife's was awful. She had bthe cabrito, which was nothing but bones and tough sinew which she couldn't cut with a knife, no meat. But the breakfasts were great, and our stay was very pleasant overall.”

“Delightful Old European Palace Hotel with beautiful premises and absolutely awesome staff and an awesome breakfast buffet and great traditional Portuguese cuisine - in one of Portugal’s most undiscovered but magnificent mountaineous area with stunning ancient stone villages out of medieval movie - I can only recommend you take a couple of days to come visit this area and stay at this beautiful hotel”

“Big bed, large bathroom- spotless.
Staff helpful and friendly
Amazing view for breakfast.
Breakfast buffet was ample and went down a treat.
Pool looked amazing but had no time to try.
Air in that area refreshes the lungs and very beautiful surroundings.
