Needs improvement to its services

Hotel has great facilities, room was nice, location excellent. However with few clients and missing services it was below average. Examples - no hot showers on 3 days, no pool towels for 2 days, snack menu not available, pool bar unmanned.

I really enjoyed this property. I needed to be near the airport, but also wanted to be on the beach. This place is perfect. The grounds on the property are landscaped very nicely and this made for a very pleasant atmosphere. The beach is of course beautiful and right there. Having a restaurant on the property was convenient too, as well as breakfast.

Et godt valg

Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Dette var vårt andre opphold på dette hotellet. Super beliggenhet i San Pedro, vakre omgivelser, god mat og service, store og fine rom med uteplass. Eneste minus var litt harde madrasser og at det bare var 2 avganger med flyplasstransport kl. 09.30 og 12.30. I og med at flyet vårt var forsinket fikk vi likevel benyttet den siste avgangen :-) Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake hit! Vennlig hilsen Tone Cecilie og John

Goed aangelegd resort met vriendelijk personeel. Eea heeft waarschijnlijk te lijden gehad onder Corona maar daar wordt aan gewerkt. In mijn week waren er weinig toeristen.

Belle situation mais Hôtel vieillot qui ne mérite pas les 4*. La route qui amène à l’hôtel n’est pas goudronnée ce qui occasionne à chaque arrivé au départ de l’hôtel en voiture un nuage de « poussière » ce qui est très dommage. Lors de l’installation d’une télé sur le mur les installateurs on laissé la chambre complètement sale nous avons été obligé de demander une intervention pour nettoyer la chambre Il faut demander le changement des serviettes Le frigo ne fonctionnait pas Etc.... Mais le clou c’est la navette de l’hotel Il s’agit d’un véhicule qui ne devrait pas être autorisé à circuler, très sale, on s’attend à tout moment a la panne.....etc.. et en tout cas indigne d’une navette d’un hôtel qui se dit 4*

Beautiful setting let down poor communication

Ok let’s start with the positives. The setting for the resort is STUNNING! The grounds of the resort are definitely where the money has been spent. The not so great : - the prearranged transfer that didn’t happen until 1hour 15 after we had arrived at the airport (galling considering the resort is 5 mins drive away). The manager did attempt to resolve by waiving the fee but still something you should be aware of. -The taxi (booked by staff when given the name of the restaurant ) that literally took us to the other end of the island before taking us to the actual restaurant. When we questioned the manager he advised that one of us had told the driver To go there . Ermm... we have never been to island and speak little Portuguese so how we managed that I don’t know. - the attempt to charge us a never mentioned supplement for Christmas Day dinner despite its being on half board and it being similar to what they served the next day at dinner. It was waived by the manager but again one of those things that grated - bar the rare exception staff were incredibly miserable. As a family we had just come from another island and hotel in Cape Verde where the staff would return your greetings or initiate them... nothing! -the leak in the villa toilet that was mentioned to the reception but not ever fixed -fittings in villa So overall, if you’re not going to be in the resort much and just want a place to stay you might consider it but I would not personally recommend.

Billig aber sehr billig...

Sehr grosse Enttäuschung. Meine Buchung konnte angeblich "im System nicht gefunden werden", der Rezeptionist versuchte mir daher eine Downgrade zu unterjubeln. Das Zimmer war dreckig (tote Kakerlake unter dem Bett, Splitter eines gebrochenen Trinkglasses unter dem Tisch, Sand überall am Boden). Junior Suite bedeutet keine Zusatzleistung, sondern einfach ein Zimmer mehr, wo es allerdings keine Klimaanlage gibt... mit einem dreckigen Sofa und einem mini 15 Zoll Fernseher. Keine Minibar, nur ein leerer Kühlschrank, kein Mineralwasser wie in der Beschreibung steht. Von den beiden Pools ist das grössere seit langem abgesperrt, nur das 1-meter Pool kann benutzt werden. Strand ist wunderschön, aber nicht bewacht, Vorsicht mit den Wellen! Restaurant war an einem Abend ohne Grund und Erklärung geschlossen. Frühstück ist solala, sehr kleine Auswahl. Positiv: es war sehr billig. Aber nie wieder und auch nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

Groot resort / mooiste van het eiland, mooi gelegen, prachtig strand, zeer rustig, prettig verblijf, schoon, behulpzaam personeel (voor westerse begrippen wel erg langzaam, maar daar moet je aan wennen). Lieve katjes. Weinig vegetarische keus, restaurant aan de overkant heeft een ruimere keus (niet altijd open). Buffet in de avond is goed, maar geen a la carte mogelijkheid, vandaar dat ik het restaurant aan de overkant aanraad, voor de afwisseling, of mindelo. Hoe langer je op eten moet wachten (is onze ervaring) hoe beter het is, je moet vaak lang wachten. Dorp in de buurt (Sao Pedro) is erg arm, eten raad ik daar niet vanwege de hygiene, maar je support wel de locals. Veel zwerfhondjes. Tip, huur een auto! (en geef af en toe een lift aan locals), Baja is prachtig (andere kant vh eiland). Weinig winkels in Mindelo (wel supermarkt uiteraard), neem wat je nodig hebt mee van huis. Dichtstbijzijnde winkel is het vliegveld, voor water etc. Geen winkeltje op het resort. Combineer Sao Vicente met andere eilanden, voor de afwisseling.

Beautiful Hotel

I was there with my family and we enjoyed everything the hotel and staff had to offer. The staff at the reception area were very nice, polite, extremely helpful and accommodating. We would go into Mindelo and Sao Vicente during the day and come back to the peaceful tranquillity of the Foya Branca in the evenings. The rooms was nice and clean and no complaints about the WiFi....we had great access in our rooms and pool area.

A éviter

3 nuits durant avec une météo mausade et un temps tres venteux. Hotel mal entretenu avec des équipements sportifs hors d'usage, des transats 100% cassés. Malgré la gentillesse du personnel cet hotel ne mérite plus les 4 étoiles et ne justifie pas le prix demandé.
