โVery nice hotel, with a green feel to it. The room smelt fresh upon arrival and we even got a little complimentary welcome cookie. Good service and a very nice roof top view. โ

Visiting in a heatwave, it perhaps wasn't ideal to be in one of the south facing bay window rooms with a sea view as it got quite hot, but any other time of year would be fine.
The shower was a little on the small side but worked fine.โ
โWe received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. Iโm a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didnโt this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room.

โI booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
