Overnight stay in Saumur.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our bicycles were stored safely. Breakfast had a great choice. It was easy to walk and find food. Even though it is across from the railway station we heard very little noise from trains. Great value for money.

Small friendly hotel and spotlessly clean. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. But of a walk to Saumur but good weather so not a problem.

Convenient and welcoming

Hotel Ibis is convenient for those travelling to Saumur by train-- property is literally right across street from station. Friendly service ( I can speak a bit of French; they could speak some English so all good for check-in, etc! Also.one staffer who was fully bilingual.). Good breakfast in pleasant dining area. Also a cozy bar and in nice weather a courtyard. There is a v.good Italian restaurant next door, and cafe 2 blocks away. You will want to go into Saumur Centre-- a 15 minute walk over 2 bridges. Lots to explore and many eating choices there.

Fantastic for cycle touring

First time in an Ibis Styles. Loved it! Very nice hotel. Fantastic for cycle touring, secure bike shed in the car park. Cold beer on arrival. Anthony on Reception was excellent. Breakfast also very good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

Very nice facility directly opposite the train station

Staff was very friendly, room was very quiet which was a pleasant surprise as it was opposite the train station. They stored our luggage while we did some local touristing on the final day of our stay. Very pleasant experience.
