Loved that this gem was tucked away from the excitement of downtown, but still walkable and accessible. The area is very quiet and the accommodations were lovely. Also located pretty close to Playa de Los Muertos, which ended up being our favorite beach in the area.

Exactly as advertised and exactly what we wanted! First of all, the service is a clear 5 stars bc Tony is there for anything you need- and that makes a huge difference when you’ve never been to Sayulita before. He gave us recommendations, helped us with transportation, and was just a constant friendly face. The hotel is nothing fancy but it’s clean and the shower was hot and the outdoor shower and pool were heavenly to come home to after long days at the beach. The rooftop is a great spot for watching sunrises and sunsets and you can even bbq up there. It’s a steep walk on rough cobblestones to town and any of the beaches which we were aware of and didn’t mind at all. It meant the area was super quiet and peaceful. I’d say it’s about 12 minutes down to Sayulita Plaza but only a few minutes to Coyote Cafe which was my favorite breakfast spot (with great WiFi). The WiFi was ok- worked better in the living room and not the bedroom. We had a huge jug of filtered water that would get refilled if we ran out. There’s a safe and mini fridge and freezer in the room. AC and fans kept the room nice and cool when we slept. I can’t imagine a better spot for the price- as long as you’re happy to do the walk!

Will not be staying here again

The property itself is great, but trying to get a hold of someone for check-in and most of their services was nearly impossible until we sent 20+ messages. Be prepared it is quite a walk from town and uphill many stairs and no one there to help you carry bags up them when we arrived. We paid extra fees for a seventh person with the understanding that there was an extra bed or couch bed, the couch that is in the living room is not a sleepable couch maybe for a small child. there was no extra bedding, pillows, towels, and the contact was impossible to get a hold of the day of check-in. They didn't bring us sheets, pillows, and towels till maybe 10 PM after we were already ready for bed. We will not be staying there again.
