"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. NOTE: the restaurant closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make an effort to get there on the other days - well worth...

"Great location for this hotel - and Bruges was such a great place to visit. The hotel is right by the main town square, with lots of things going on, and markets to visit. The room and ensuite were lovely, and would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were really helpful and we enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the gym - which wasn't really fully equipped, and smelt of drains, so I didn't use it."

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."

"Well run hotel, excellant staff and services. Bed was perfect, TV was full service, our room had nice views. Good parking garage. They have what must be best restaurant in town, liver, kidneys, plus all standard fare. Wine sampling. Restaurant service was top top with class!"
