"The hotel was modern and clean. Beds comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection for a continental breakfast. There were a couple of bars nearby. It was a little walk into the main town you could take a short cut climbing a good number of stairs. The Melqart Hotel is a lovely place to stay it would be even better if there was some outdoor space or a little bar area. "

Evening buffet with many choice, but a bit pricey at 30 euro/person. Taxi to and from Sciacca center for 35 euro/4 persons round trip. Bus to Agrigento 6.50 euro/person from Sciacca bus station. "
