“Unmanned - you get code to the lockbox to access the lodges via email on the day.
Nice enough place to stay for a couple of nights. Basic facilities but no complaints.
Place was clean with plenty fresh towels.
Curtains let through quite a bit of light which was the only downside.

“I EXPERIENCED RACISM IN THIS HOTEL. I am Asian woman, and I spent a day on Islay show day with my boss. They did not open a restaurant that day so, I bought a frozen chicken from the market. However, they never allowed to heat frozen chicken for me because they are too busy for preparing show day event. Hey, using a microwave takes less than 5 minutes!! “We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep. The bathroom is amazing. If we drive up to Scotland we will again considering stopping over maybe for an extra night to visit also the...
“Just returned from a v enjoyable stay at the hotel. Food was excellent, spa facilities & treatments were great, staff friendly, beautiful location, rooms clean and spacious. Only slight issue was internet and tv signal could be slow/intermittent but I guess that’s down to the remote location! Otherwise 10/10!!”
