I let the bar tender know that I enjoyed a specific Speyside whisky and he recommended a Balvenie that was tasty and comparable. We had a beautiful loch view from our room and I enjoyed waking up with the sunrise over the loch outside of our window. We caught the end of storm Amy and the week was pretty wet and chilly...

“This hotel is in a beautiful yet convenient location, if driving, just off the main road to/from Glencoe. It was peaceful with a stunning outlook, which you get the full view of from the restaurant. We had the family room, which was spacious but didn’t have the benefit of the good view. The room was lovely but the shower was not hot so we were given a key to another room to use the electric shower there. The shower was a mains sourced one and the boiler had just been serviced so hadn’t heated...
