โWe enjoyed our stay at Barncastle! Really changed our views of Bed and Breakfasts. Didn't realize that a place could be both quaint and gorgeous *and* have modernized amenities and be comfortable! We would love to come stay again. Lizzie was so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay!โ
โThe staff was friendly and helpful making suggestions for dinner and sights to see in Acadia National Park. Breakfast both days was delicious! Bed was comfortable. โ
โThe only downside to this property was that you pay for an ocean view room and indeed you can see the ocean but itโs quite a distance away. We had not been to this area before and didnโt know the lay of the land so it was a little unexpected to be so far away from the ocean and have a ocean view.โ
โI loved staying at this hotel!! Room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of coffee with a coffee machine. Complimentary breakfast of good quality was served in a nice and clean restaurant. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful. If I have chances to go back to the Bar Harbor area, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommendable. โ
โLovely place on a quiet street -walking distance to everything . Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Cute little bar to get a drink in the evening . Highly recommend!!โ
โWe loved our stay! Old school charm with amazing views! We loved the location because we could easily get to the park and downtown Bar Harbor but without the crowds of downtown. Loved Bill the piano player at night!โ
โI don't recommend this hotel never. The reception women wasn't nice, and my wife and I couldn't sleep well because my room is loud noise of my door next front door . There is a most upsetting situation. And I was very cold in sleep because the heating didn't work at all night. The heating regulator did not work. It was 2am that I founded that the heating didn't work. I caught a runny nose next day and my trip was interrupted. I never recommend this hotel.โ
โOur stay was awesome. Our cabin was clean, super comfortable & the innkeepers were helpful with recommendations for dinners & places to put our paddleboards in locally. Our dogs were in heaven w/ the pond & ability to play in the large yard. Weโll be back for sure! โ
โGreat stay at Seasider. The snack bar was a huge bonus! Manager was great in changing our reservation when the ferry was cancelled. Very walkable to everything. Would definitely recommend. โ
