“We stayed at Otter Creek Inn for 3 nights while visiting Acadia National Park. The inn was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with an easy check-in process. Breakfast was a nice plus, and the location made it convenient for exploring the park. Acadia itself was absolutely beautiful, and this was a good base for our trip. ”

“Great hotel located conveniently in Northeast harbor on Mt. Desert Island. Picturesque location with balconies overlooking beautiful marina. Onsite restoring great food and friendly staff. Minutes from Main Street shops and additional restaurants. 5 minutes drive to south entrance of Acadia National Park and easy 20 minute scenic drive over to downtown Bar Harbor. “A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants.”

“This motel is conveniently located near restaurants, mini golf, ocean access. It is clean and the staff is pleasant. It is very close to road on route 3, the main thorough fare between MDI, Bar Harbor, and the mainland. Unfortunately, it is getting shabby and rundown. ”

“Island Place is an amazing stay to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The hotel is clean and well maintained and walking distance from downtown and the Village Green. We were able to walk to the shuttle buses instead of driving. Maureen and everyone there are the nicest people we've encountered at a hotel ever. They have amazing recommendations and made us feel like home. We are eager to come back!”
