"We had a wonderful two-night stay! Check-in was quick, our room was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the internet was fast and reliable. Our dog was welcomed. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering excellent recommendations for places to visit and happily making fresh coffee for us. Coffee and tea were always available, and having guest laundry on-site at a reasonable price was a big plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again."

"This is a gem of a location. Margaret is a delightful host with a tremendously interesting backstory. The house is beautiful and includes all original wood which is stunningly finished. Our first night we were in a small room that didn't have air conditioning, but on the second night they moved us to a larger, air conditioned room at no additional cost. Breakfast each morning was freshly made croissants and scrambled eggs, as well as fruit and yogurt. We ate at a common table and had great conversations with our fellow travelers and Margaret. Location at Mahone Bay is beautiful in itself, is walking distance from several restaurants and a very nice pub, and a short drive to Lunenburg. Margaret is wonderfully welcoming - you have the run of the house and she even turned the TV to the World Cup game for us. It's like staying with old friends. I can't recommend this more thoroughly."
