"The Reykjavik Edition is a lovely hotel and the location is very good. Staff were very attentive. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was a very good selection of food on offer with gorgeous views overlooking the harbor. At peak times, they did run out of glasses and it took a while before they were replaced so people ended up using cups for their juice. We were a family of 3 staying in a double queen room. There is not enough storage in the room for 3 people and we travelled pretty light. I know the hotel is going for a dark/atmospheric look which I like, but they took it to far. We had every single light on in our room and it was still quite dark unless we opened the blinds. Heated flooring in the bathroom was a nice touch. Apart from the dark room, we would definitley stay here again."

"The staff was friendly and helpful with arranging travel and local activities. Our room was clean, comfortable, and modern. The breakfast was good each morning. The only less than ideal thing was the spa was just warmish instead of hot. The sauna was nice, though."

"Amazing customer service. The host always answered almost right after I wrote. We had the option with breakfast, the place however has no kitchen/ living room but this didn't matter, the breakfast was great. We got a bag with bread, croissant, jam, cheese and fruit. "
