We really enjoyed our stay at Umah Watu Villas. Peter and his staff were accommodating and helpful. Peter and Tonno gave us great recommendations such as Local Coffee and Biku that also enhanced our stay. The pool is fabulous! Everything you need for an easy and comfortable stay. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

About 15 mins walk from the busy area it’s ideal for somewhere to relax but not be too far away from somewhere ti eat and shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is beautiful and well appointed with and excellent communal area and pool

Our stay at the Umah Watu Villas was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with lovely welcome drinks and our luggage was carried inside by the Villa’s amazing driver, Putu. The Villa itself was spacious, cozy, incredibly relaxing, and felt just like home! The air conditioned room was amazing at night and the private pool was essential for taking a swim during the hot afternoons. The staff all went out of their way to make us feel like family- Peter was always there to give a local recommendation and Anna kept our place perfectly cleaned. The location was all we needed- quiet but within a 10 minute walk to both the beach and to the markets. When we are in Bali again, we will without a doubt, be back!

GREAT stay ! Rooms are spacious, clean and 5 stars Lebel. Tonn Will make his utmost to make you feel at home and comfortable. The pool and the garden are very well maintained, you Will enjoy the palm trees and the birds. Not far from this magical hidden place you will find the main shopping streets, restaurants and bars.

Cute and quiet, away from the main streets and the hustle and bustle but easy walking to shopping, food and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The grounds/garden were lovely and tropical and very calming. Staff were so friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help. I felt very taken care of.

A beautiful place to stay and we look forward to staying here in the future. It’s very quiet and comfortable, and looks just like the pictures. There are several places to eat within walking distance, and the beach is a reasonable distance for walking as well.

Traditional villa with fantastic staff!

We had a perfect stay at this Villa, from the moment we arrived the staff greeted us and gave us the run down of the Villa and guidance on what’s around and how to get places. The Villa itself is massive with a very traditional Balinese style to it which we loved. The location is great if you want to be within walking distance to the beach or the shops. The staff are what make this place amazing though, no matter what our request or issue was they are more than happy to help. Thank you to Tonno and the team for making our stay a memorable one. We would be happy to stay again in the future.

Our stay at the Umah Watu Villas was amazing. The property is gorgeous, and boasts a great deal of local architecture and decor. The villa feels open, yet very private. One of our favorite things was the pair of small turtles that hang around the pond! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our host was outstanding! He had helpful recommendations and shared many interesting stories with us. We hope to return soon!

This was fine. The best parts were Putu - the lovely person who picked us up from the airport, and the pool. I think it’s possible that the host, Peter, wasn’t fond of Americans - he was quite condescending and passive aggressive, sort of politely scolding me several times about how crucial it was that I read the preamble he sent about the bathroom being outdoor etc etc. this was at 10pm right when we arrived after traveling for nearly 2 days straight. Between that, speaking poorly of the “loud chaotic people from the states” who had checked into the other unit the same day, and highlighting to my partner that he probably wouldn’t fit through the European style doors (!), just not a strong start. In any case, preamble or not, I don’t feel the accommodations were clearly reflected on the booking page nor in email communications. It was fine for the price and got the job done but any interaction we had with the host made us feel like we were always doing something wrong or being judged. I suppose that shouldn’t be a priority over a comfortable bed, but it matters a ton to me.

I had a wonderful stay at Umah Watu Villas, the property is a traditional Balinese style villa and is very well maintained and very attractive. It's the perfect mix of traditional and modern. I liked everything about it, it was near to everything I needed yet just far enough away from the busy streets of Seminyak Square. As a solo female traveller I felt safe to walk from the beach and near by amenities and around even at night. The villa was extremely clean, well appointed with everything I needed for my stay and a lovely pool I enjoyed regularly. The host and all the staff were friendly, accommodating and made my stay that much more enjoyable. I will remember my visit for a long time and hope to return one day.

It was my first stay in Seminyak. I couldn’t of found a more perfect place. Taman Toya Villa was the best experience that I have had in Bali. Peter and his staff paid attention to ever detail that a guest could want. A beautiful Villa with a excellent breakfast. I have made new friends and will return. A very safe place for women traveling alone. Close to everything.

Our stay was amazing. Peter and his staff were really friendly and went out of there way to make sure our stay was perfect. We stayed in the deluxe upstairs room which had a view over the rice paddies which was beautiful to wake up too. The pool had this view too. Anna made us a cuppa in morning which was really nice the staff were all helpful and very funny. We had some wonderful talks with Peter who was a full of very interesting stories. Thanks Peter and staff We had a loverly five night stay. The day of our departure there was someone coming into our room and our flight wasn’t till very late that night But Peter provided somewhere for our luggage and we had the use of a shower the lounge and kitchen. And pool which was great.

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Umah Watu. The owner Peter and property manager Tono, along with the rest of the staff, took care of our every need from the moment we arrived until we left. The property is beautiful, relaxing, super clean, and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We highly recommend a stay here!

A very intimate and cosy complex overlooking a lush rice field. Enjoy the vista from the pool. We enjoyed the huge bed, great AC and outdoor shower. We made ourselves at home using the communal pergola area where tea and coffee facilities were housed. The villa is equidistant from Seminyak Square and the beach area near Breezes ... about 10 minutes walk from each. There are a number of restaurants immediately at hand however if you dont feel energetic. Airport transfers were efficient and highly cost competitive. Management was friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. A great location if you are looking for a well priced location with a difference.
