“The staff were incredibly friendly. Right away they offered drinks while we checked in. We were able to use the pool and gym while we waited for our room to be ready. Very clean stay and open spaces. Breakfast had many options and changed depending on the day. Loved the variety of pools and jacuzzis for privacy or bigger groups. ”

The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours...

“There was an issue the first night. Electrical issues forced us to transfer to another local, unaffiliated property...which was not at the level of comfort and amenities we expected or had paid for. That said, the hotel went out of its way to correct the issue, first by upgrading our rooms, then reaching a mutually agreeable price correction. All in all, a great stay! Thank you Reynaldo and the entire Tifakara team!”

“This was our first time to La Fortuna and this was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms although not large are very comfortable. The bathroom is very well equipped and you have a safe. The only thing I would have wished for was a chair to be able to sit and write. We spent each afternoon in the different pools and met so many people from different places and countries. The lunch we had was also one of our favorites. The soup and the fish were so amazing. We will definitely stay here...

Allan helped us check in and it was really amazing, he took time to show us the sloth train and even bring a telescope for us to see sloths up in the trees. The food at the restaurant was incredible, don’t miss the cooked to order breakfast that is included in your stay! From check in to check out we felt welcome and special! Will definitely stay again! ”
