โThe hotel room was clean but very small (obviously since it was a Microtel). The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was okay. Penn Yan is a small town but the hotel is located very near several restaurants, stores, and taverns. All in walking distance. The only thing about this hotel and that it has only one elevator and it is very slow. โ
โThis property was in a great location. Away from the main highway. Directly on the water. The rooms were client and comfortable. I loved the chairs outside the front door to overlook the property and the water. The location is so quiet and peaceful. Only complaints would be that you can definitely hear the people above you if you are staying on the bottom floor. I would have loved a coffee pot in the room. I did find out on my last day there that there was coffee and muffins in the dining...
โLast minute trip. Not many options. It turned out much better than my expectations. The room is clean and nicely decorated, the bed is very comfy. Separate bathroom comes with steam shower also very roomy and well decorated. The hotel located in the very quiet and safe area. Overall Iโve had great experience. โ
โI nice motel overlooking the lake , just a 5 minute drive from downtown. Easy to get to
Tiki bar was just a walk down the hill to sit lakeside for lunch โ
โEnjoyed this property with beautiful view from our balcony of Seneca Lake. There are lower rooms, but those would have cars parked where you sit outside your room. I would return and stay again, but only if I could get a balcony room. Staff was welcoming, personable & professional. Spoke with servers, maintenance, front desk check in, etc. ALL were exceptional and I look forward to staying here again. Such a convenient location to downtown Watkins Glen and sights in the surrounding area.โ
โWonderful hotel stay. I was in Waterloo for a conference and the hotel where the conference was held was sold out. I am so glad that I had a reservation at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff I encountered were all very nice. I especially liked that the cafe was open early. I was able to grab coffee before heading to the conference. I would stay here again. โ
โThe staff let us check in early. Room was very clean with a gorgeous view of Saranac Lake. Fire pit in the evening was a big plus. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back. โ
