This small hotel is a jewel. It is secluded next to the ancient Confucian shire grounds on a small alley with no thru traffic. You can walk five minutes to the Jongno 5 subway stop past at least five coffee shops and several small Korean restaurants and the ubiquitous 7/11 emergency food stores. There are markets in the neighborhood and the Insadong shopping area is conveniently close by. But get the kakao map app or have the address in Korean for a taxi driver or you will never find it.
The room I had was very small - almost no space for more than one piece of luggage, but very much sufficient for solo travelers with all you need, hot shower with good water pressure, warm room, wide enough double-ish bed (though abit hard), vanity, big TV, and very neat and clean. Staff were very helpful too even late in the night. Would stay there again, is good value for money!
Nice small motel with friendly staff. Great value if looking for somewhere to base out of

Nice staff and close to many attractions
Our stay was pleasant. It's about a 5 min walk to the subway, the bank is right in front if you need an ATM.
The rooms are clean and the staff is really nice. The beds are bit hard but after two days we were fine and our backs didn't hurt at all. The area this hotel is in is pretty quiet.
This was our second visit to Seoul and Hotel Zero provided a great launching point for visiting many sights on foot as well as being extraordinarily convenient to the excellent Seoul Metro. While basic by American standards, the hotel served every need of ours and the staff was without fail pleasant and willing to assist. Check in was beyond a breeze - less than a minute! Close to all kinds of eating options - Gwang Jang market in particular was a lively spot just a few blocks away where we had excellent rice cakes, bibim bap, gimbap and hand pulled noodles for breakfast and snacks. The relatively adjacent Jongmyo Shrine is worth a look. All-in-all, we had a memorable stay.
