I had a great stay at Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro in Seoul. The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from Myeongdong shopping street and close to Euljiro 3-ga subway station (about 15 seconds walking), which makes getting around the city very convenient. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made check-in and any questions very easy. Overall, it’s a great value for the price—comfortable accommodation in the heart of Seoul with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.

The location was great, really took just 3mins to walk to Euljiro 3ga station. It’s also walkable to Myeondong, Lotte World but it takes around 15-20mins depending on your walking speed. We didn’t like the TV, was not able to watch any shows. Not a smart tv, cannot be connected to YouTube/Netflix etc. Also, they have a unique policy of changing the linens and clearing trash every 2-3 days, which was not expected. One of the reason why we chose a hotel stay this time is so that we can come back to a fresh linen everyday. However, other than that, we were okay with the stay

Overall clean, safe and comfortable stay for the price. Water from shower leaks out of the door so floor gets flooded, the air conditioning is too cold, it’s either on or off. Rooms are not that soundproof.

Ok to stay if price is right

Hotel eco friendly attitude left the room bare with minimal service & no toiletries at all & asked to purchase at vending machine & location is a 20-30mins walk to Myeongdong. Metro next to hotel & plenty dining options around the area. I would recommend Travelodge Namsam as its much closer to Myeongdong.

The stay at Travelodge puts you in a fantastic location that leaves many Seoul must-see areas within walking distance and the line 2 metro about a minute’s walk away. The hotel itself is bang in average, the rooms are fairly small, they provide cleaning services only in the third day of the stay, and the facilities are a bit old and tired (some of the grouting in the bathroom had turned black for example). The gym is small but functional and the laundry room is similar. Drinking water must be collected from water purifier stations by the lifts.

Our room was very comfortable and beds were clean. A/C worked very well and we had ample room for 2. However, glasses in the room had lipstick on them (not ours) and the shower could’ve used a good scrub. Location is good, short walk to shopping and the metro station right outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again with these expectations!

The room is clean, spacious. The hotel itself is clean and in an excellent location. A few steps from the Airport bus stop and the subway station. Very convenient! The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to Jung, who has helped us made our stay in the hotel and in Seoul really memorable! He is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable, a great help to tourists like us.

Excellent location and transport links

This hotel was in a great location. There is an airport bus stop & subway station only a 5 minute walk away and is only a 15 minute walk away from the Myeongdong night market. The Staff were all very helpful. It's a no-frills hotel. I would recommend as an ideal base for a anyone looking to spend most of their time out of the hotel and exploring Seoul.

It’s in a safe and great location with respect to the airport express bus, the metro line, and the Myeongdong Night Market. We only stayed for 1 evening and the staff was extremely helpful and helped answered our questions. Amenities were good and perfect for the 1-night stay. I would stay here again if we have a 1-2 day stop in Seoul and want to be close to the Myeongdong surrounding areas and shopping area.

Andrew and everyone else at the front desk (I’m terrible at remembering names…sorry) are very helpful. They even helped me get a taxi and talked to the tour guide for more precise directions. I purchased a breakfast for my sister only since I don't eat breakfast. The gentleman at the cafe offered me a free bread and coffee. Thank you to the staff of Travelodge Myeongdong Eulji-ro! You are all doing an awesome job!

Amazing location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, quiet at night. They have amenities that are nice in the rooms and you can refill your own water bottles on each floor. Easy acces from Incheon airport (1hour by transit) and right by metro station.
