Great place to see the property. Definitely worth it. Bring some snacks. The dining gets filled very quickly so we were not able to have dinner in the restaurant. But would stay again!

Lovely location and decent size room, but slightly dated. Staff were generally polite but couldn't answer all our questions about the resort. Main disappointment was food at the restaurant was limited

There is nothing like staying inside our national parks, being immersed in them, going to the lodge for breakfast among all the guests getting ready for their hikes that day, cozying up in front of the fireplace in the lodge at night. Our room was pretty basic, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. Good food at the lodge restaurant. Best was getting up in the morning and not having to drive for an hour to your day's activities in the park.

Beautiful buildings in a beautiful setting. Dining area was especially nice. But our room had several shortcomings--wifi was dpotty, shower not really functional & no handicap access

The check in system worked very well but extremely poor response to our trying to make dinner reservations. The reservations were to be made at the attached coffee shop but they were more concerned with serving the coffee customers and we were ignored for around 5 minutes- far longer than necessary!

A little like going back in time. No frills, but our room was quiet, clean, and had a gorgeous view. All staff was friendly. The restaurant and bar areas could use some improvement. It looks in general that they may be understaffed. Long lines for ordering to-go food. Food delivered to table was sometimes cold and sometimes not exactly what the menu described.

We loved our room, plenty of space for 2 people. Great view. The fan in the bathroom was very loud. The heat lamp with timer did not work properly. We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner at the lodge. The food was delicious and the staff was efficient, personable and professional. It snowed on our way up to the lodge our first evening. I understand that it’s tough to maintain the walkways during the snow. But they weren’t shoveled in the morning, and they were treacherous to walk on. Some handrails might have made it easier to get up and down from the Lodge to the Sequoia building.

The sequoias are amazing and why you want to go. The accom and food is very average but if you know this going in you can prepare yourself.

You have to carry your luggage up a hill via a path. If your stay is short consider packing a small over night bag so you limit what you need to carry.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Pasta dish on menu was a bit poor given prices. A mention for the barman on duty who was very relaxed and friendly and finished off our evening perfectly.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my parents and 9 month old. We were very satisfied with the layout and amenities at the property. All staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. The handicapped accessible room I stayed in was a great size for my baby to crawl around and play and it was easy to fit her Pack N Play. Housekeeping services are minimal for <4 day stays, this was generally fine but so much ground/dirt and pebbles were dragged in to the room every time we returned which was tough to keep from my daughter putting in her mouth constantly. Perhaps management could consider leaving self-serve vacuums during the daytime for short-stay guests. The restaurant is located in a bright room with great views. Menu selection was greater than expected with good quality food especially for being way up in the mountains! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing location inside the park. Great flexibility and willingness to help when weather conditions force a change of plans. Minor details such as low water pressure and cleanliness are probably explained by the park conditions.

Don’t go!!! The road was full of ice and the car despite of the chaons was not safe to go up! I called the hotel and told me they couldn’t refund my money because a third party expedia didn’t allow them! We had to book another hotel and leave the place

Gorgeous area and very hospitable staff. They weren’t prepared for the amount of guests though as they were out of most of the menu options both days we were there. The guest lodges don’t have elevators and a not party if the main lobby area. We brought flashlights for the walk back to the room at night as it’s pretty dark. Overall great spot and would stay there again. Very quiet and beautiful!

Receptionist staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We loved the snow all around. The restaurant serves good food, not amazing but good and is quite expensive. Cleanliness could be improved. The rooms were a bit noisy. The TV could be a smart TV instead of an older model - specially when spending time in the room when too cold outside. Having said that, I would definitely return in the future.

When showering the cold and hot water is broken. When we turn the hot water all the way to the right and the water is very cold and when we turn half way for hot water, the water boiling hot OMG.
