"Loved the hotel, the staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good but not many different options. We stayed 3 days and we pretty much ate the same things for breakfast during our stay. Amenities were great! Kids loved the pool and we loved the automatic coffee machine!. The only things we did not like much was the location of the hotel. It is a very busy and loud street and the noise of traffic at night did not let us sleep well. Other than that, we liked everything else "

"Beautiful Victorian hotel from outside but very old inside with older carpet, dark colours throughout and missing charm of the era. Best thing was the clawfoot bathtub! Our room was on a side street which was very noisey all night. Too bad that effort had not been made to restore what used to be a very clsssy hotel."

"This is the nicest Motel 6 I have stayed at by far. The interior is new. The mattress is good. It has bottled shampoo/conditioner/body wash. "

"Delightful stay at this historic property. Great communication from the inn keepers with detailed emails and instructions. Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar downstairs. Would highly recommend, especially if you are fan of history, architecture and interesting places. Close to downtown Eureka and near Woodley Island. Don't miss Dick Taylor craft chocolate if you visit Eureka!"

"Parking was good; small parking lot but enough for all the guests; The check out process was a little weird. No human behind the desk - a virtual assistant that took the place of a hotel clerk. Breakfast was a bit unusual, there was a guy there with a clipboard checking names and asking what room the guests were in. ( seemed like fresh made pancakes, egg omelets, same size and style as the round pancakes, bagels, milk, cereal, fruit juices and something that smelled like coffee( very diluted). "

"Room was clean as well as the property. Staff was remote and checked us in via webcam but they were super nice and very professional. Very walkable area."
