I found this inn on Expedia on the day we stayed and we couldn't have been happier. It's located out in the country with great views, run by the same friendly family for over 20 years. It has character and is nicely appointed. The highlights were numerous: away from the bustle of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville; a "temptation station" with snacks and beverages available 24 hours a day; full service cooked breakfast (scrambled eggs and chicken waffles the day we were there). I would love to return someday when I am in the area. Because of the location there is no dinner available on site if you have not booked it in advance, but we picked up some take-out in town and ate it outdoors while watching the setting sun and fireflies.

So incredibly cute! food was a sweet little rotating menu, and spa services are part of a little extended pavilion. Guests must realize the Inn is old, and along with that comes weird smells, creaky floors and small rooms. The Amazing Breakfast and the friendliness of the Inn’s family/staff make up for everything else.

Blue Mountain Mist Inn exceeded all expectations! Close to dining and attractions, yet secluded from the crowds on the parkway. The setting along with the hospitality were second to none. We will be back!
