"This is a classic-style hotel—not modern, but very well maintained and not run-down. The location is very convenient, just one block away from Nanjing Street, with a convenience store right across the street. The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful. I especially appreciated the bathtub and the many elevators, so there was no long wait to go up to the room or down to the lobby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it."

"Breakfast was terrible. Nothing was good. Room was big and spacious. But we couldn’t adjust the temperature and we were freezing. Housekeeping was so so. Water wasn’t topped up unless you call and ask for it. Location wise was good as it’s close to major shopping areas with plenty of nice eateries and restaurants. "

"As you step in the lobby you are greeted by professional staff ready to give you the warmest of welcome. The hotel is clean and service quality # 1. The manager helped us with our local SIM card and even offered to talk with China Telecom customer Service despite the fact he was multi tasking (greeting guests, checking them in and supervising his staff). Appreciation to 朱啟纵 who went out of her way to give us advice on local attractions, restaurants and how best to use the subway system. The cleaning lady always greeted us with a smile and frequently asked whether we needed something. She seemed to be there all the time ready to serve. This is why we booked 1 extra night (total 2+1). Definitely recommend the hotel. Exactly what the hotel advertises. No unpleasant surprises. Will definitely be our top choice when visiting Shanghai next time. "It was a good location for Didi taxis. A local area with not much to do. No bars/ coffee etc Hotel was more of a histel though we had a room for 3 with shower and wc in room. Aircon. Free water ea day. Fresh towels and room cleaning ea day. Beds a bit hard but ok fir 2 nites. "
