“It is a little off of the beaten path, but that was exactly what we were looking for. Wilhelm, one of the owners, personally greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and showed us to our rooms. He also welcomed us to breakfast, took our orders and delivered our food. He is very proud of his establishment! It is close to several tourist attractions (Poulnabrone Dolmen, Ailwee Caves and Newtown Castle).”
“Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there.”

“Staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate any requests. We are group of 4 families and the owner arranged kitchen staff to make breakfast to our liking and packed for some of our members who could not be on site for breakfast. We would definitely recommend the place without hesitation. ”
“This extraordinary boutique hotel operates out of an extensive Georgian townhouse adjacent to a park. For 3 days we enjoyed a sumptuous room (the Park Room) and delicious breakfast choices. Charmingly decorated, the place is comforting and supported by a friendly helpful staff. Our fault, but we didn't try the spa. Highly recommended, we'd stay here again if we return to the area. ”
