โGood location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. โThis was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler.
It was like home from home with some very nice touches which whilst simple but milk in the fridge was great especially for the cup of tea in the morning.

โWhat an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didnโt disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.โ
โLove, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!!
Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.โ
