"Super easy to get to and the parking is right out front. The outside of the hotel is not much to look at but it does face the lake. Inside is a little worn but the staff is really nice and welcoming. You get an actual room key. As in a metal door key. Kind of a throwback but cool. The room was comfortable and clean, updated bathroom. Minimal noise but I could hear the shower in the room next door. You can adjust the temperature but I couldn't figure it out which is probably me. The staff offered to bring a space heater but it wasn't that cold. We did not eat at the restaurant because we went into town. There's a cool cinema there with a restaurant but make reservations if you want to eat there."

"Our stay was wonderful; the room was spotless and cozy, with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed a warm, restful night. One area for improvement might be the restaurant, as prices are rather steep—almost £40 for a main course. I expected a larger portion, but it was just a single piece of sea bass, which had a fishy flavor."

"The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to meet us because we had a problem and couldn't get there until 10 PM. Can't say enough positives about them. Because of where it is Wi-Fi and Internet is somewhat limited"

"Parking was easy. The entire property is very very dated. There was mold in the shower and the carpet was ripped in the room. The view was great. "

"No menu, service slow, bedroom windows latches faulty, bedroom door lock very slack, central heating not working. However bed very comfortable and bathroom recently spruced up. Hotel surroundings poor with no obvious main entrance. WIFI POOR TO NON EXISTENT"

"The room was dirty, dusty, the menu in the draw had tea/coffee stains on it - although it was laminated- and the drawers were full of crumbs/ bits, the toilet was tiny and the whole room was untidy/shabby looking. The breakfast which we paid £13.50 each for was not great, there was a good choice but the bacon was very lightly cooked the beans were cold and the eggs were either done too much hard or not enough & snotty. I only saw one member of staff the whole time he seemed to do everything reminded me of the tv show fawlty towers but they had more staff."
