"The property was beautiful, private and serene. The staff were all very friendly and more knowledgeable and helpful then what I've come to expect after decades if traveling, so that was an excellent bonus. We enjoyed the space they call the Great Room both late night for fireside cocktails and to eat some food we brought with us on the day of checkout and after getting a final soak in the large, clean and not too hot, hot tub. I will definitely revisit Bonneville hot springs resort again especially when seeking a good spa experience. This place has it all, natural hot springs, full spa staffed enough to allow many guests to receive the pampering of their choice anyday of the week, nearby golf and the many outdoor activities that the gorge provides from one season to the next. Parking is free, available and secure, the staff are actually helpful and the price is unbelievable for all they offer. I recommend spending about $30 a night to upgrade to a room with its own private soaking tub on the definitely private 2nd floor balconies."

"Zero complaints. The hotel was beautiful and great location. Room was nice and updated. Small shower which made it hard to shave my legs. Minor inconvenience. Hands down best hot tub. It was huge and so relaxing down there. Loved having room to spread out. Why can’t every hotel have a huge hot tub?! We only stayed one night, but I would stay here again. Beds were nice too. "

"I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps, on each side of the bed, worried me as the building is old and the egress window would have been difficult to use in an emergency. The staff were very helpful and they were polite! All in all I would enjoy staying in the hotel again! Jim"

"Great location, super quiet, easy parking, easy access to trails. Do not arrive before 1500 - they will not check you in early. Strong water pressure, comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent!"
