The room was nice but the pull out bed was rock hard lot of noise coming from below it was like a fire door slamming constantly, and above was noisy. Staff were friendly breakfast was nice

I had a rear room with no outlook and a frosted window (but I knew this ) but it was a bit noisy as the extractor for the kitchen started up quite early in the morning. Excellent breakfast and dinner choices and the drinks were reasonably priced but I was rather surprised to pay £4 for a small glass of peanuts!! Next time I’ll bring my own!!

I had an amazing three day Stay at the Kingswood! Beautiful Hotel, superb meals, good choices on the menu and beautifully cooked and very good portions. The Hotel has excellent and kind, caring and very efficient staff who all went above and beyond to make my stay excellent. I loved my stay so much and I shall definitely be returning.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful on arrival and upgraded us to a lovely balcony room which was a lovely surprise. All the staff were very welcoming. This hotel is being looked after very well. Breakfast was yummy and the selection was good, everything you could wish for. I loved the freshly baked pastries they were sooo good. We have been to this hotel twice and we will be returning there hopefully in a few months.

The Kingswood Hotel is a right on the seafront in Sidmouth. The hotel is welcoming with a light and airy dining room and bar and lounge area with board games, overlooking the beach. The staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. I stayed here on a business trip and ate breakfast here, but no other meals. The breakfast was delicious with a large choice of both cooked items from the menu, but also an extensive breakfast buffet including items such as berry compote, fruit salad, cereal and yogurt and juices. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would definitely like to stay here again, when in Sidmouth.
