Excellent location

Gorgeous, romantic. Highly recommend staying in the wine countryside. Three course dinner was exceptional, best meal we had including the big cities.

Great from the time I pulled up with infused water on hand breakfast was the best I ever had with everything you could dream of fresh everyday, Dinner was awesome al a cart. The pool/spa amazing relaxing the room With views the best room I’m definitely coming back location is perfect DJ outside /rooftop bar / Hotel smell /decor on point

Breakfast is delicious and location is superb!

Magical. Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

Hotel was elegant with extremely attentive, friendly, helpful staff. We felt very welcome. Room was spectacular with ocean view and balcony. Grounds were spacious and welcoming with palm trees and beautiful foliage. Huge indoor pool and huge outdoor pool plus its own beach. Plenty of room for everyone to swim, sunbathe, sit and relax with food and drink inside and out. Bar area inside and out was huge and they have entertainment every night. Pool was not ready for the one night we satyed but the area was enjoyable and the views gorgeous.

Excellent helpful staff and breakfast!!

This is a wonderful place for a dream vacation. Unfortunately, we messed up our dinner choices for New Years and a few other nights. We didn’t realize that the Hotel had a sister property with more restaurants. We stayed at the better property but I wish that we had known about the sister property for New Years and more restaurant choices

This place is like its own little city. You really don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to. Every single dining option is top notch. The food and drinks are absolutely outstanding. Zero disappointments. The convenience of being able to walk back to your room a few meters after a day or night of drinking is top. You really cant ask for more. Amazingly beautiful hotel, fantastic for golf lovers. The Spa is one of the most beautiful I ever saw, and I travelled a lot around the world. On view an antuques collection of more than 1200 pieces, impressive.

Very well located, a little off the main street, and very charming. Nice clean room with character and with incredible view of the gorge and mountains. Close to the hiking paths down into the gorge; everywhere easily walkable. Worth having dinner at the restaurant on the hotel terrace. The only unpleasantness was that smoking was allowed on the terrace even during dinner. We would stay at Montelirio again if we were ever to return to Ronda.
