“Essentially there were zero amenities but that seems to be primarily due to the historic nature of the building. Property was a spotless and quaintly beautiful, exceptional staff.”

And Vania and Carmen made every breakfast fun and friendly. All of the guys in the kitchen help make what I can only say is my favourite breakfast. The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself”

“The room was fine, but the terraces are not private AT ALL! The room next door to us was super loud until very late, which was not optimal. The parking was extra, the breakfast was extra and the pool area was much smaller than it appeared in photos. Also, there was literally a huge building being constructed right outside our window, which completely blocked our beach view. However, it is very close to the beach and you can walk to lots of restaurants and shops”

“The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea! ”
