"The two bedroom apartment that we booked for our family was big enough to accommodate four people. Full kitchen, complementary bottle of wine. The apartment had two showers, but one of them was very small for our 6’4” son. Very nice breakfast. Charming property. We came during the busy holiday activities, so parking was challenging - be aware that parking on the street may subject your vehicle to the damage from passing by vehicles due to narrow streets. Few steps away from amazing restaurant, Taxka, with amazing food and service!"
"Such a gem and immaculate stay. All of the details you expect and more from a Bed and Breakfast. The house is well-maintained and appointed. I love the rooms' uniqueness and spaciousness. The bathroom details are fabulous with the plushest towels, robes, and soaps, and they provide washcloths, which aren't easy to come by in European hotels. I love staying somewhere with the amenities I have at home or better. They didn't disappoint. Breakfast is cooked to order if requested the night before, and it is quite special, with a variety of American options like bacon and pancakes.
Ana at the front reception is so helpful, courteous, and professional. She even waited past the normal hours to greet us after a late flight. This was my second stay here in the past year, and Ana greeted us both times. The service is consistent. We will be back."
"Wonderful breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet. Rooms are small but perfect for a solo traveler like myself or even a couple if theyre not heavy packers"
"What a great hotel and such pleasant staff. Our room was on the third floor down with an entrance to the garden.
The location was great for strolling around the old town and easy to get an uber to the Pena Palace.
The hotel does not have parking but there are parking spots just outside the hotel
Also there are no elevators but the staff helped out by bringing our bags down 3 floors to our room.
This hotel is on my list for a return visit."
"I love this place - it has character, a great location, and feels like a little piece of old school glamour, albeit rough round the edges in places. This was a repeat visit after six years away. The breakfast was lovely, the property is really special. We stayed in a room away from the main house and had our own little outdoor area - slightly tired, but then the character of the place makes up for this, it feels so much more charming than soulless chain hotels."
