"What a beautiful hotel! Very modern, very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Loads of spacious parking which is a huge plus. Right on the outskirts of the historic centre which is an easy walk. Very reasonable off season rates. Excellent breakfast facility with loads of tasty choices. 10 out of 10 across the board. "

"Room & entire premises extremely cold. Central radiators were off. She turned on the AC in the room and set it to cool to 73ºF, but the room was in the 50's. I figured out how to reset it and left for dinner. We returned to no electricity. We had to negotiate a candle. Room was extremely small, only 2 ft on each side of a double bed, which was lumpy. No place for suitcases. She suggested we open them in the car and take in what we needed. Bathroom was clean, but small with no room to put anything. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special."

"Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone."
