"What a great place to overnight! Free excellent breakfast AND dinner if you arrive by 7:00 pm. Pet friendly. Right next to I 95 but you can’t hear any highway noise inside the room. Big rooms."

"My stay was enjoyable overall. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. However, I was disappointed that my room had a handicap sign displayed outside the door, and when I opened the balcony door, the guest in the room next door was smoking marijuana, which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the balcony. The bathtub also drained very slowly, causing water to collect while I showered. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, but the quality and selection could be improved. Overall, I loved the cleanliness and location, but a few improvements would make the experience much better."

"Excellent location in a Historic hotel location. Nice lobby, breakfast room, and dining room. Attractive old hotel with valet parking. Do note though: Air conditioning in the room is very noisy and goes on and off, Although the bathtub is the older deep round style, it's not very set up to take a bath (rusty drain and a non-slip rubber mat inside), and there is no tub and shower and just the tub. This means a very "high" step to get into and out of the tub with a pull around shower curtain which may bother some people."

"Human review here, trust me. The complimentary parking was appreciated. You just need to go through rough, but short, cobble driveway to get in. My arrival was late, yet we were greeted by a gentleman who offered to help us with our luggage. He was very appreciated. Now, let's talk about the room. I think my room was named Kon Taka, similar to Kon-Tiki - below the main level. The bedroom was not bad. It contained a flat-screen LCD television with a screen size of about 27" or 32". The bed was a queen, a bit stiff but I slept well. The bath robes were not bad. Long hallway between the section that connects the bathroom/bedroom to the living room. I liked that. The room also has a side kitchen with full-size fridge and small sink, Keurig, and a few drink glasses. The living room was alright, classic - cloth couch and separate chair, desk with chair, some paintings and a TV of about 40" or so. It was nice having a living room like that, but wouldn't want more than three people in that living room at a time. It smelled a bit like paint, but I got used to it. They give earplugs in case you hear noises from outside. I heard some mild sound that might have come from the adjacent room but it was only for a few moments. The place ain't bad. It's got genuine, thick wooden plank floors, the kinds that probably were used to build schooners in the 1800s, not the flat ones commonly sold at flooring stores these days. Try it for a night for an experience. And they gave two free water bottle"
