Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nice staff, good location for airport, it has loud road out front and smoking smell on top floor
Additional £10 per night for car park, but you can park for free on the street just after corner, no more than 50m from hotel door.
For me it is very unfair, I agreed with my boss this sum for hotel and I don’t have funds for extra £40 for parking.
Condition of hotel is bad, it was not possible to lock the window and the gap was bigger than my finger.
Checking in very muddled and having to check rooms to see if anyone was in them as the system said vacant but on check (yes physically checking) realised someone was still in there!! Only room available didn’t have a TV, was dirty, not maintained and nothing like the pictures on the website. You need to remove this hotel from your books.
I waited at reception for about 10 minute while the staff came off their personal phone call. Got to the room and the carpets were absolutely disgusting. Poo stains on the floor, make up stains and a variety of other stains all over the room. The tv didn’t work at all, the bathrooms also had stains all over and even the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. The light switch to the toilet was a make shift piece of string with abit of plastic on the end so you could grab it. The bed was the only thing that was clean, even though it was rock solid.
Worst hotel we have ever booked. All three colleagues left after one night and we ended up booking alternative accommodation for them elsewhere. Highlights:
• Human faeces on wall.
• Stains all over walls next to headboard.
• Urine in toilet upon arrival.
• Given a room that hadn’t been cleaned - beds already slept in, towels on floor etc.
Refund required. Unacceptable stay.
Gave us key to someone else’s room got room eventually and it smelled awful opened windows but smell was still bad dirty unkempt hotel would not recommend to anyone
Very run down place. Had to pay for overnight parking. Not advertised. Tv was connected to old aerial, went from patchy screen to 'lost signal' every few seconds. Completely unuseable. Piece of excrement floating in toilet.Rips in shower curtain. Curtains were stapled at the hem. Had to request wifi password as not told on arrival. Phone in room stuck on 'initialising'. Bed was comfy.

It was convenient for my circumstances
My room not like the photo
Had to pay extra £10 on top for parking my car onsite
No breakfast unless extra cost
For the price it did the job but the decor was very old and tired. It wasn't very clean the bathroom and carpet could do with a decent clean, but at least the bed and linen were clean and fresh, the pillows were pretty old and tired but it was fine for some where to crash
Upon arrival, we checked in at the front desk, but were then escorted outside, which immediately struck me as unusual. We were led to the back of a neighboring building, where the entrance to our room opened directly into the car park.
Once inside, the room was in an unacceptable condition. It appeared to be a makeshift extension built onto the rear of the building, which likely explains the lack of internal access. The walls were unfinished, with marked paint, holes, and visible damage. The beds didn’t properly fit the space, parts of the wall trim were coming loose, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming and felt unsafe—especially with the only door leading straight to the car park.
As a young family, we were very uncomfortable with both the condition of the room and the lack of security. We voiced our concerns and were moved to another room, which was slightly better and located within the same separate building—but still not the main hotel building with the reception.
It was unclear why we were placed in this secondary building at all. From what I could tell, it seemed more like a residential setup than part of a proper hotel.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. The experience was disappointing, and the high ratings it seems to have are, in my opinion, very misleading.
Unfortunately I did not take any photos.
That’s truly an horrible experience.
The building is full of crack which made you feel unsafe.
In the room, which is very very very smelly and dirty. The bed is dirty like ever being clean. The bathroom is blocked and jammed. The light is broken.
I didn’t stay there with my family.
Truly horrible!!!!!
**Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend**
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Uno Hotel Heathrow Windsor. From the start, the service was lacking – the staff were unprofessional and abrupt when answering the phone, which immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a very disappointing stay.
The room itself looked desperately in need of attention. The walls were scuffed and peeling, clearly crying out for a decent paint job. The toilet roll holder was broken and just hanging loosely on the wall. The shower head only worked in two modes, neither of which were particularly functional, and to top it off, the sink only had hot water – no cold at all – which made washing hands uncomfortable.
The carpet was filthy, clearly not cleaned thoroughly in a long time, and the overall condition of the room made the whole experience feel dirty and unpleasant. It’s such a shame because the location has potential, but the upkeep and service are far below acceptable standards. I won’t be returning, and I suggest others think twice before booking.
On arrival I waited at the reception counter for a while as the receptionist was out the back on his phone and didn’t know that I was there for 10 minutes.
When the receptionist appeared he was friendly and checked me in then accompanied me to my room & let me in. When he left me I had a look round and soon realised that the room was filthy & pretty much everything in the room was broken. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting & the shower was unusable for anyone taller than 2ft. To add to that the radiator was on full and the valve was broken so it couldn’t be turned down it was unbearably hot. I could say a lot more but you get the idea. I stay in hotels all week every week and this was the worst I have ever seen.
So with all this in mind I went back to reception and asked for a full refund for the 2 days and he said he could show me another room so I agreed to have a look.
The next room had an ok shower room and wasn’t as grimy as the first so I agreed to stay.
It was fairly comfortable but very noisy from other guests who seemed to be in and out constantly slamming doors and very loud talking and shouting. I don’t think it helps that there are big gaps under the room doors and the sound transfer straight in to your room & this is also a fire risk. I stayed 2 nights and was woken up on both of them.
It feels a bit like people live at this hotel the communal entrance & stairs and filthy, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years.
Definitely a 1 star not 4 as advertise
