Sandman is a clean, safe and modern hotel. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant Denny's. Good food, good service. And appreciated the 24 hour shuttle service to YYZ. It is a hotel I would recommend.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience all the way through, the staff was attentive and genuine. There was warmth and real hospitality, welcomed with some sparkling wine. We were able to enjoy treatments at Stillwater Spa, and fabulous drinks at the Writer’s Room Bar at sunset and had a wonderful dinner at Joni’s , the in room meal were lovely. The design and comfort for the rooms was very tasteful along with the overall aesthetic of the hotel full of art and texture. The most amazing part was the staff from the front desk, to concierge to the staff opening the doors or servicing the room it was really exceptional, thank you for making it unforgettable

The overall experience was good. And when asked the staff were helpful and accommodating. Biggest draw back was the “delays” entering the property. It was told as minor delays and a bottleneck. 1 car was allowed through the picket line every 15 minutes, lucky due to schedules we only waited on average about 1 hour.

The coffee and the carrot soup at the restaurant were first rate. The room however, would be right at home at Value Village. Shoddy paint job. Goodwill stick-leg furniture. Looked like it was put together randomly, nothing matched anything else, and the cost of the room certainly didn't match expectations associated with either Sheraton or Marriott. I've stayed in hundreds of them, and this was the poorest attempt at decor I've seen.
