"Horrible experience. I do not recommend it. Parking lot is at another hotel. Bugs all over the bathroom floor, toilet fitted underneath the sink, door opening very tiny. I dont know how this hotel passed a basic inspection. We had to take elevator to 2nd floor, walk down corridor and take stairs down to our room. The stair well was dark since there is no lighting. Both windows were broken. Main window slams down if open it. Bathroom window wont close, so you shower and use bathroom with open window. I complained to front desk about how dissatisfied we were, but their excuse for everything is that its historic. There is nothing historic to this decrepit "hotel"."

"Its the most Rustic hotel in town. Built in 1850. Noise insulation was not a big deal in those days. Bring your ear plugs. Book an upper floor or else listen to foot steps all night."

"Older hotel, but in good condition. Bed was comfortable, room clean, breakfast just okay. Cooler was noisy and garbage pickup in the early morning was very loud making it hard to sleep. Sonora is a charming town to visit. Hotel rate was very good."

"Room was very quiet and comfortable. Pool area and hot tub area very relaxing like a little oasis. Getting to the hotel a little drive off of main CA 108 . Definitely a mountain hideaway hidden down winding roads. We arrived a little later than we wanted and had to scramble back to Sonora to get food cause most things closed at 8 pm. Definitely a neat little place but eat before you get there or get there early"

"The room was a good size, with 2 queen beds and fairly comfortable. The bathroom was a good size also. We had a patio door leading out to a grassy area with table and chairs, very good for our dog. It was a little noisy when the pool was being used, but it wasn’t too bad. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was a little different the 2 days we stayed. We will stay there again!"
