"The Bellafonte is a smaller boutique hotel a few minutes south of the airport. We spent a week in a 2 bedroom villa on the first floor. There is a small soaking pool and a private pier (which you can jump off and snorkel or swim). Upon arrival we were provided a tour of the property and our bags were taken to the room for us. The windsock resort, next door, is an easy place for food, and the quality and cost is reasonable. All the staff and housekeeping was very helpful and they always made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay there again."

The rooms were rustic and open allowing you to appreciate the birds and lizards in the adjacent gardens. The kitchen was adequate for simple food prep or reheating leftovers, but not suitable for more complex cooking. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The mosquito netting and screens were helpful, but having a way to keep mosquitoes out of the whole cabin rather than just the sleeping area would have been nice. The air conditioning was great and the open feeling of the space added to the positive adventure of our trip to Bonaire."
