South Coast, New South Wales hotel rooms at the Independent

"Great location - 2 of our group were doing a triathlon and we could walk to the event area by the harbor. Very spacious clean rooms and nice kitchen and living area."

"The hotel was clean and the room was nicely renovated. The breakfast was good quality but needed a couple more choices - perhaps some hash browns, pastries, waffles or banana bread. The basketball half court was closed for maintenance - the tennis court could also benefit from some minor maintenance too (net and fences). Lovely staff."

"As we had a late check-in, staff arranged the key after a phone call, and even left directions to the room on the envelope which was super helpful. The room we were in was an older property that had seen a few updates so it was a mix of old and new features. Large doorless shower didn’t spill onto the bathroom floor which is gold star worthy ⭐️. Tiled floor throughout meant that bare feet weren’t the best and when the dining chairs were moved it was VERY loud, from the upstairs guests too. The back door on the ground floor unit meant we could easily park our push bikes overnight (venue is right in the bike path)."
