“Great spot in the old town. Nice big room with kitchenette, safe, good shower and excellent air conditioning. Easy enough to get into, just make sure you read the instructions as there’s a few different apartments in the building. Hosts are responsive and helpful No luggage storage as it’s all remote, but there’s a place just around the corner which is very reasonable if you need it”

“The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. The windows are well sound-proofed, which helps! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Thank you to the Guesthouse team!”

“Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...
