"Beautiful views and excellent hospitality. The neighborhood is comfy and we were encouraged to fish in the creek, and the hot tub was a very relaxing way to start the day. Will remember for future travels!"
"Managers were very hospitable and friendly. The units are old, but nice and clean. The only issue was no outlets in the bathroom and very few elsewhere. Just old, but comfy."
"The Riverside Meadows cabin was a delight. It sits right on a stretch of the Rio Grande river and is ideal for those seeking a quiet spot. The cabin itself is well-designed and, although it has a vintage look on the outside, it is completely modern and comfortable.
The owners - Fritz & Paula - built the cabins themselves (as well as the main house where they live) and they did a great job. It was clean, well-furnished and very comfortable on the inside. Although we didn't use it, the cabin has radiant underfloor heating, as well as a wood stove in the main room. The location off of the river and away from the main roads mean that all you hear is the sound of the river flowing, which is wonderful.
There is an large outdoor sitting area, a propane grill that is available for cooking outside. The unit has a mini-fridge and a coffee maker inside.
The owners, Fritz & Paula, were friendly and happy to sit and chat with us and overall, it was a great place to stay. They've been in the area for many years and can provide lots of info on the surrounding areas. My only regret was staying only a single night!
P.S. If you like to fly fish, this section of the Rio Grande is considered a "Gold Medal" section. You can catch some rather large Rainbow and Brown trout!"
