โNice roomโsmall but adequate. Great beds! Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was worth the $15. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to the castle, High Street and the Cardiff Market. Great restaurant choices and decent shopping within walking distance. We also had drinks and played games at the bar. Nice friendly staโ
โThe hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.โ
โa typical city centre budget chain hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows, and a nice fresh new feel to it.
For price paid my only criticism would be a design that does not provide much storage space - even budget travellers bring extra clothes with them!!โ
โAll the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.
If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as...

โMy wife and I stayed overnight for a show in the city. The staff were friendly and the room was specious and clean. The breakfast options were excellent, including many vegan options. โ
โTotal stay experience was wonderful. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel location is central to and walkable for everything (castle, shopping, restaurants, etc), plus is clean and well maintained. The room is easily accessible, comfortable, and located within the hotel for a quiet stay. โ
