Upon checking, we were informed that while the picture and all the information was for Hotel Beckett, we were actually booked in tiny print with their other sister hotel next door. It was not nearly as nice and I was not going to feel comfortable or safe staying there. Luckily the manager of Hotel Beckett was wonderful and able to accommodate us at the original hotel we were emailed about with pictures and address once we returned back, showed the original email, and talked.
The hotel was fine, newly renovated in areas, but not fully matching the advertised pictures.
The largest concern was during our stay though. The day we were to check out, our key stopped working. I took it to the office to have them recode it. The attendant, never asked for the room number, yet proceeded to hand me a new key. I thought this weird. I went to my room and found that it worked. I decided to also check the key with a neighboring room that I could see was clearly unoccupied. I was shocked when the key also opened that door too. I checked one more room too, and found it opened that one too. I have video of this as well. How could a business hand over a key that would access every room on the premises??? I would not stay here again, as the actions taken left me feeling unsafe knowing there could be other guests with room keys that could get I to each room.
