"The Hilltop Boosa is a wonderful find. The rooms are not just big they are huge. very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were both friendly & helpful. We ate here each night and the food was excellent. We borrowed bikes ans were able to explore the local area. Transport was available if we wanted to go further afield. We really could not fault anything about Hilltop and we hope to be able to return"

"The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. "

"Beautiful old Dutch house, lovely balcony with view of the fort walls and the sea beyond. View west to the setting sun. Swimming spot within three minutes walk. Good fan and AC. Good size room and bathroom. Very nice breakfast at a nearby property. Management and staff very helpful in a pleasant reserved way. Excellent value. Highly recommended."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa 80. Our room was comfy and Henry, his wife and staff couldn't do enough for us. The tranquil garden was a real haven and the pool was a bonus. We weren't far from excellent beaches and the railway station. A tuktuk was available to run us to wherever we wanted to be whether to the local market or local gardens. And the breakfasts were excellent."

"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great! The bed was very comfortable and had a unique and very effective custom designed mosquito net that...

"Nice and beautiful hotel but no WiFi connection inside the room. They are willing to change me into another room but that room is smaller and the WiFi is not in a good connection too. "
