The location of the house was a short walk from the train station. The neighbourhood felt safe and clean. The house itself was well looked after and clean. Directions to find the house and get in were easy to follow. My room was spacious, airy and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for money, I would stay again!

I needed a bed for the night and this fulfilled my needs. The room was clean and the bed comfy. A bit of noise from outside but nothing too bad. I did have some trouble locating the building in the dark as there is just a house number. I didn't notice anything saying Freemantle Lodge. Also the instructions for the room key indicated below the TV in the lounge but there was no TV.
There is one shared bathroom, and two toilets. It may of been me, but it wasn't obvious it was a shared bathroom.
Be ready to skate the restroom with all consequences..... upstairs bedrooms using ground level restroom. At least toilet is split from the shower. location is not bad
I found my room very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. It has been a very long time since I have had to go out of my room for the loo or a shower but it’s not hard to get used to it again. My only issue is that having seen a laundry basket opposite my door I thought that I was supposed to strip the bed which I did and found stained pillows and badly torn duvet. Didn’t
No one was there when I arrived. I wanted to see if there was someplace to check my luggage. I was there at 7:00 and hotel check in was 4:00. I tried calling but nobody answered the phone. No text back either. I decided to go in early to see what was going on. There was no TV over the keys. The sofa was old and the fabric was falling apart.
The carpeted stairs looked dirty and very narrow when dragging luggage to the top floor. I decided to stay somewhere else. I only needed a room for one night.
I guess you can say you get what pay for.
I didn’t even got around to stay, as soon as you go in you are monitored by different cámaras on all rooms of the house, I wasent able to find the key to the room and after looking for a while it was inside a drawer that is not specific on the email, then when I manage to find it the code didn’t work, so I just left and when and spend more money in a proper hotel where I can be normal without a camera watching me even when I pop in the toilet
There is only one toilet for, what seemed, a potential of 20 people. The toilet was on a different floor from my room and difficult to get to. On this occasion the light in the toilet was not functioning. Grossly overpriced
The address of the property is difficult to find. The carpet was very dirty. There is a half a bath upstairs with no shower or tub and only one shower downstairs to be used by all four rooms at this property. And you can hear everything that everyone in every other room is doing so if they are up at all hours of the night, so are you. Will not return.

The room was warm. However I am very disappointed. On the last day I was falsely accused of burning a bedspread. I did not iron anything and I do not smoke. I do not know how my sleeping could have burnt the bedspread.
A little disappointed, although I knew it was a shared bathroom I didn’t expect it to be down stairs.
The resident next door to me decided to sleep with her room door open and the tv on.
Not wanting this for a second night I left a day earlier than planned and checked into somewhere more suitable for a good nights sleep.

Disliked: Staff & service
Never got in the property Male contact on phone was rude unprofessional and disinterested. After trying for an hour to ‘check in online’. I left and found another hotel. A great idea if your internet is working. Away from home it’s not reliable. Travel from bham last min and expected a hotel sign or something. It was a house. Very disappointed. Very.
