“My daughter and I came to Effingham for a concert. I didnt even realize that the venue was right across the interstate, so placement of the hotel was perfect. There were a ton of stores and food choices around, if we'd been staying longer. The breakfast was your run of the mill continental breakfast. However, the service was 💯 hands down. The lady (whose name I forgot to get) was super fast and so nice and personable. I doubt anyone had to ask for anything to be replenished or cleaned, because...

“We stayed for two nights as a break in our travels. The staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable and the area was quiet. We always look for a comfortable chair, microwave, refrigerator (this one has a freezer -- that's a bonus) and a way to make tea.We also prefer a roll-in shower with a chair. This room had it. The pool was the right temperature and very nice with an easy walk-in stairway. It was a pleasant stay. ”
