“We had such a lovely, warm welcome and the staff could not be more helpful. Inside, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently positioned and about 10 or 15 minutes to the tram stop into Basel. The breakfast was absolutely first class - plenty of options and the rooms were great.”

“Super schönes, liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel. Besonders haben mir die maritimen Details, die überall verteilt sind, gefallen. Sehr geräumiges und schon eingerichtetes Zimmer. Beim Frühstück wurde man bedient und es wurde sogar Rührei frisch zubereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Für Menschen die es ruhig mögen: Es gibt Zimmer direkt über dem Pub, die nachts etwas laut sind, allerdings für mich persönlich kein Problem. ”

“Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful. ”

“Mir gefiel der authentische Charme der Unterkunft. Mein Einzelzimmer war inklusive des Bettes sehr gemütlich. Das Bad war älter, aber ebenfalls blitzsauber. Das Frühstück war vollständig inklusive leckerer Brötchen, Obstsalat, Rührei sowie gekochten Eiern und einer Müsliauswahl. Der Kaffee an sich war in Ordnung, die dazu servierte Milch schmeckte allerdings nach Kondensmilch. Hafermilch wäre schön, wird aber evtl zu wenig nachgefragt. Auf der 1.
